About Eliot

Eliot Hinson is primarily a Conductor and Collaborative Pianist from Tennessee. Currently residing in Nashville, Eliot teaches Instrumental Music at the Ensworth School (7th and 8th Grade), is on staff at Lipscomb University as a Collaborative Pianist, serves as the organist at St. Luke Cumberland Presbyterian Church and as a collaborative pianist at Brentwood United Methodist Church.

Eliot loves to make travel a huge part of his life as a musician - most recently as a euphonium player on a concert tour with the Middle Tennessee Costa Rica Honor Band in Cartago, Costa Rica.

In 2022, Eliot attended the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria, where he studied German Lied and Opera as a collaborative pianist.

Eliot serves as the Assistant Conductor of the Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta, where he also coordinates their chamber music series throughout the season.

Outside of music, Eliot has a fascination with learning languages and speaks 5 languages at an intermediate level and dabbles in a few more for fun.
